autumn equinox

Embrace the changing of the season nestled in the Kootenay mountains of Nelson, BC.

Join us as for a weekend retreat in Nelson, British Columbia. We will honour the season of Autumn Equinox, in which the changing of the season signals the need to balance light and darkness within us. Most of us seek to find more light in our lives but the innate knowing of Mother Nature creates the required cycle to create this balance. Autumn Equinox is the point where the yearly cycle shifts from outward exuberance and growth to inward contemplation. Over this weekend, we will gather as a community to celebrate equinox and International day of Peace.

This weekend will provide the perfect conditions to gain clarity and recharge as we transition into a new season with a renewed sense of purpose and inspiration.

As we take cues from nature, Autumn is a time to move onward and let go of the past so we can settle into the introspective nature of Winter. It evokes the practitioner to reflect on finding the balance between the light of Summer and the coming darkness of Winter.
